    Hi,

I currently have the Logitech Z323 speakers in my living room and a bluetooth adapter which allows me to play music off my phone.

I am considering buying the SoundLink III as its portable and carry it about and no messing with cables etc.

There is a vast price difference between these two items and on appearance you would think the Logitech with its subwoofer etc would deliver better and louder sound. I'm just wondering on the SoundLink how would it measure up against it and if the main thing here you are paying for is its portability or would it even produce a better sound?

    Cheers.

    Yes a big difference.
That end of Bluetooth speaker usually carries a DAC to increase the quality of the audio from your device. Your logitech is actually a €40 pair of speakers with a €20 sub attached. Tone and bass will be notably improved.
The reason I used "that end" in the previous sentence is an intimation towards better speakers than the Bose. Bowers & Wilkins A7 or B&O A2 tonally destroy the sound link for approximately the same money.
As always look/test before you purchase

Ok cheers so I'd take it the Bose would be a big step despite the size. Yeah I haven't decided anything yet I'll look at those other brands you have mentioned too.
