Hi,

Are you guys texting customers to offer a way of sending money to friends by just knowing there phone number,

The text read,
Know your mates phone number but not their bank details, Pay to Mobile that's all you need to send up to €100. Find out more... It provides a link to follow.

Personally I don' trust it

Hi whavin

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.

We can confirm we have recently sent SMS to our customers relating to the 'Pay To Mobile Service'. As 'alf66' correctly mentions, the link in the SMS should be directing customers to our main website.

The wording you mention is identical to the wording we can confirm below and the link should show the same also.

Know your mates phone number but not their bank details, with Pay to Mobile that’s all you need to transfer up to €100.

We hope this helps, thanks for being cautious and please get in touch again with any future queries you may have.

Thanks
Alison
