Does anyone know how to reset the radio/bluetooth to factory settings in a Mazda 6 (2012 model)? Can't figure it out and it won't let me pair BT devices - dealer hasn't a clue and no help!

    Disconnect the battery.
Any other downside to that? Won't reset/lose locking or anything!?

No, but from memory you might have to redo the window auto open - basically opening and closing each windows from what I remember.

Using the voice control you can say pair or delete too now that I think of it. Its a long winded process and the lady in the dashboard is hard of hearing.

Have you ever tried adopting an extremely exaggerated BBC accent? Seems to be the only answer with some of these systems.

Pear doesn't work for pair. It has to be pay...err.
Fore doesn't work for four. It has to be foe...Ah.
    etc etc
Very frustrating and you do feel and look a bit of a gimp.

Not as bad as irish revenue phone system the last time I dealt with it though. I've yet to figure out what accent is needed to get that to work.

Sweet. Using the voice method I deleted all paired phones and was then able to pair my phone. There must be a pair limit on the car. Thanks, spent ages trying to figure this out.
