Learner permit, accompanied by Motorcyclist

    Hello All,

This came up earlier in a group discussion and we couldn't find any information to conclude the argument.

While on a learner permit, it's stated that you must be accompanied by someone who has a full irish drivers license for more than 2 years.

What about someone who has a full irish drivers license for a motorcycle for more than 2 years?

Is there a stipulation that your accompanying passenger must hold a full irish drivers license for a car specifically?

Apologies if it's a silly question, but I can't find information to confirm or deny.

    Thanks!
