    Hi All,Hope ye are well.

    Here goes.........

I am a fairly frequent traveler to Liverpool from Cork (Ryanair). Well the Last time was Last September. -I Used to fly Friday and return Sunday.

Anyway,I was hoping to go again maybe in August, but cannot for the life of me book a Friday flight for then,or even September for that matter.

Does anybody know if this service has been cancelled or what the story with it is?

    Thanks in Advance.

That certainly appears to be the case. Apologies, I misread your original post. I read it as you couldn't see any flights at all.

It sure does, -Unsure why they would do that as It was a very popular flights for Matches and stags/hens. Anyway I will have to come up with something else..

Thanks so much for your time.

If it is of any conciliation, Aer Lingus Regional operate 2x daily flights to Manchester, which isn't too far from Liverpool.

There appears to be a few routes out of Cork that have lost days in august, bucket and spade must be giving a higher yield all returning in september.

well, from the quoted example they only get €63 return for a weekend return to liverpool yet can charge nigh on €300 for Spain
(and BTW, aer lingus in the same ball park it for a weekend Cork-Munich return - so much for the supposed demise of Cork airport - and supposed recession - if they can charge those sort of prices and fill planes).

It seems like good business to me if theres enough recession proof folks out there with €300 burning a hole in their pocket to get to top up their freckles in Spain !

€300 isn't really a lot? Plus supply and demand isn't it, families save up all year for the trips to Spain etc.

Exactly it's supply and demand. Demand for holiday flights really peak in June/July/August so there is traditionally a lack of capacity. It therefore increases prices. London is more of a steady route. It rarely peaks high or low (Christmas being the exception).
