That was an epic performance by Michael O' Loughlin in France at the weekend. 49kph for 7.5km on junior gears. With every major cycling nation present except the Aussies, it was a HUGE win for Ireland. Well done to NRPT for getting a team into the race.

And it has moved Ireland up from 20th to 10th in the UCI Junior Nations ranking. Ahead of Italy, Spain, and GB. Impressive.
