Question aimed at the Audi experts out there.

Is Sat Nav standard on these new models.

Current car I am looking at (non Audi dealer) says the car dosen't have the sat nav.
SD card (with maps of course) is missing so i am guessing that would be all i need?

Where can one get the SD cards preloaded if that is all that is required.

    Tks,

Not as simple as preloaded SD Card I'm afraid, it requires a different version of operating system - I enquired from Audi dealer previously.

Sat Nav was standard on UK spec models but not Irish spec ones afaik. Also there is more to it than just sticking maps on a sd card. The car would need a GPS antenna fitted and other bits of software installed. Might be easier to just find another car with it already.

If you have the SD Slot and Antenna you can get the Sat Nav initialised by an Audi dealer, i know for the A3 it costs €750 to get it done.
Works out an expensive Sat Nav? My iPhone6 does the job for me.

Audi exclusive carpet incl. additional front and rear floor mats at €2,677 sounds even more exciting.
    Is this for real?

You could hit 80 or 90k on a 50k car with all the options!

This is why Audi AG make 7 billion euro profit each year :D

Sat nav has just been made standard on A6s in Ireland this year, UK A6s came with it as standard from model launch but not the colour information display between the dials.

It'll cost around about €1000 to retrofit AFAIK so not worth it to most people especially on a 2011 car. They all have Bluetooth streaming as standard so if you're navigating with Google maps on your phone the commands will still be spoken through the car.
