Has anybody had problems getting BBC iPlayer to work in the past while?

I've been getting an error message that "This content doesn't seem to be working".

If anybody has had a similar experience, and is aware of a fix....PM me...ta.

Running off an Irish IP? Only the radio element works.

Indeed, I've left this thread open only working on the proposition that the OP is based in Northern Ireland. If anyone wants to operate on a different basis I'll have to close this thread

Its not available in the Republic by default, if you change location to uk on your tv you can can it. Obviously it won't work because its geo locked.

Ps this is a very old thread 2015

It's not available on some TVs. I don't know if Samsung have it. Its always possible to sideload it to any tv but as said above its geo locked. This means that you won't be able to view it in Ireland without outside help

Annoyingly, Samsung only support players for a few years, even those players such as RTE and C4 that usually work in the 26 counties.

The BBC player will only ever work if your device is detected as being in the UK of GB and NI. If this is the case, you may be able to use iPlayer on a laptop or PlayStation if your TV is too old.
