The jobs market seems to have picked up loads in Dublin and certainly I have not seen as much work traffic on my commute since pre-2007.

Anecdotally there is a fair bit of movement, where I work a number of people have been hired recently, and a few have left to go to new jobs recently too. So there definitely seems to be more movement than even 12 months ago.

It takes a little longer to get a job than it would have in the before times, but you'll still get a job. Be grand, genuinely.

Don't worry until you get back or it will spoil your travels. Trust me I was a great one for planning\ making sure I had a job to return to when travellibgband I spent hours specialising cv\ applications even trying phone interviews from different time zones.

The reality is any employer in Ireland will want to interview you in person most likely, so you can't do much before coming home other than have the CV ready. Its a turn off for the employer to think they can't ring you or bringnyou to interview until after a specific date.

If you can move in home for 2-3 weeks while you get home and get sorted try that, look for a local job even if its just part time local work, and go from there

Mostly enjoy yourself, you don't get many opportunities to go and travel in life so enjoy every minute... If I had my way again I would have spent twice the time travelling and worried about money after. Try reading a few travel blogs like Nomadic Matt that have great suggestion for this type of thing.

    ^^^ This

Unless you are considering not moving back or moving somewhere else, you have no decisions to make. You will arrive back home, dolly up your CV and give it your best shot. There's nothing more you can do, so enjoy the rest of your travels!
