Tried X music and they only have 1 in stock plus were offering a pretty embarrassing price for my HD-28V, definitely won't be giving them my business. Any other places around Dublin, or further afield that would have a few Lowdens in stock?

Trade-ins are by their nature terrible deals. If you want to shift the Martin, sell it yourself.

Yeah I know, but I was a bit shocked at how bad this offer on the HD28v was. For a guitar that costs €3400 new and it's only a year old they were talking prices of €1100-€1200. But yeah, a trade in is out of the question.

That sounds quite good. I don't have experience in the music business, but take vat and an allowance for markup from 3400 and see what they are buying new stock at.

Your talking about a drop of €2200 on a 1 year old guitar, doesn't sound good to me!

Try Beat it Music in Dundalk or Jimi's, the Sound shop is usually good too. And as the previous poster said, call George
