Anyone in sales?

Got a call from a drinks company about potentially joining their sales team. I'd be covering a certain area and from my experience working in pubs I think I'd expected to visit customers, as well as cold call potential customers and sell the products to the manager as well as making sure promo material etc is all in place. Is there much else to the work? Any idea what sorta pay I should be looking at as well?
I'm expecting a call back about the job in the next day or two so I'll ask them myself then, just looking for a bit of a heads up.

    It depends.

If it is junior level and you have a van you will get around 24-28, with some commission on new accounts opened

I'd imagine it would be junior level. Is it cheeky asking for a van/car if it's not offered? I'd need to buy one otherwise as I've no need for one at the minute and can use a van in my current work whenever I do have need.
