How much for an engine wash?

    How much should one expect to pay for engine wash? Won't be doing it myself. Have a leak. How much?

    My local bmw specialist charge 60yoyo plus vat for it after making a mess of a job. Apparently.

    I now have a chirping clutch... Is it possible to cause problems with some actuator or bearing in the clutch either by lashing oil everywhere or by hosing the sh1t outta something to clean up afterwards??

    Okay, getting it done for €40 tomorrow so just wanted to check and see if price was on par with others!

    To be honest I'm only guessing - there was no invoice or anything for the fitting of wrong parts, running the engine without oil pressure Etc etc. I suppose they did charge me for fitting the correct part that I sourced to prevent them floundering about with it any longer, and for the engine wash.
