This might be the complete wrong place to post this but does anyone know how flight connections within T2. I'm flying in from Canada and onto Berlin all with Aer Lingus. Since I'm not leaving T2 do I have to clear passport control and customs and go through security again or do they have a connections route?

There's a transfer channel to follow, take a left just before passport control and follow the signs. You'll go through a security check and then be sent up to T2 departures for your flight to Berlin.

If the transfer channel is open, a lot of complaints the last couple of weeks due to it closing at 1pm cause of staff cut backs

It should be, that Toronto flight gets in very early in the morning (like all of the T/As).

Well the vast majority of connections are pre-1200 so perhaps the DAA decided it was a waste of manpower to keep it open.
