    Hi.

I'm setting up an account on Viking Direct and one of the stages is asking me for a company name. Earlier, I selected 'Other' in the 'Account type' section. I'm not a business.

Is vikingdirect.ie also for residential customers?

Yes viking direct will ship to residential customers, I just put my name as company name. Just remember when browsing their site that things are priced ex vat

Don't waste your time trying to register online.

They have disabled online registration so all you will get is an error message.

You can only register by phone...yes I know...in this day and age!

Bear in mind that if you order so much as a paperclip from Viking, you will be inundated from here till doomsday with a torrent of bloody Viking catalogues. Even if you phone them multiple times to request that they don't send them any more. Even if you close your account...

Ask yourself. Is the slight saving in stationary costs worth the hours you'll have to spend recycling Viking catalogues for the rest of your life?

    :D

    Hi devildriver.

Is it possible to buy stuff from them without registering an account?

I ordered a chair off them few months ago, haven't received any promotional stuff. I was able to register on the site fine, and delivery was the next day and by courier. Fantastic experience all round
