The procedure for almost all flights is the same except for flights to the US where you do pre-clearance. It also depends on whether you are checking in a bag or if you can print off the boarding card at home or not.

There are minor differences, for example if you're flying to the UK with Aer Lingus where most photo id is acceptable, other than that most people bring their passport so they could be flying to anywhere.

So..... in order to get a proper answer, tell us (1) the airline (2) if you are checking in bags and (3) destination

Isnt nearly every flight from Dublin international? do you mean transatlantic?

As an aside, is there an argument for an air travel forum as a sub forum here? Seems to belong here more than in travel forum.

Id come early so as not to be stressing out if there is a traffic accident or something. Long haul like that, and its just not worth the time saved. Things can and do happen.

You'll be fine, you may even be there before the check-in desk opens. Terminal 2 in case you didn't already know.

Sounds fine to me, too early and the DAA will find some way to open your wallet in the Loop, if you were US bound I would suggest earlier but you might as well be going to France bar the 400 passengers boarding the 777-300 when travelling anywhere other than the U.S.

Flight is scheduled to depart at 1350?

How far in advance of this will check in close?

Answer these questions and see how comfortable you are arriving at 1130.

Boarding for a widebody will start at 1300......this would mean check-in closing at 1230-1240.
OP arrives at 1130, how long to walk to T2? What are the chances of a delay.

I would expect arrival at 1130 for a 1350 flight to DXB (with onward to BKK) is fine.

Won't be an issue at that time of the day.

What are the peak times for security ques in Dublin, out of curiosity?

I've seen that Fastpass before but have never really seen the point of it. I fly through DUB once a month and don't think I've ever in recent memory qued for more than 5min at security. Nearly always afternoon flights, though.

For US flights you would want a bit more time, as you do pre-clearance.
    Call it 2 1/2 hours

They vary the number of active security lanes depending on the number of departing passengers so it doesn't necessarily follow that large numbers = big queues though the sheer volume of departing flights between 6 and 8 a.m. means that first thing every day is almost always chronic.

That said, you could arrive at 3 p.m. and find there's only 3 lanes in operation with nothing moving because there's a couple of infrequent flyers at the head of the queue being patted down repeatedly thanks to the fact that they're carrying enough jewellery to open a shop and they have wallets and handbags full of assorted metallic objects.

The Dublin Airport smart app has an indicator of the current delay for security for T1 and T2.

Between 30 and 60 mins usually to clear the American stuff, 60 for when it's really really busy. Usually less than 30mins for security at time of day. So as Tenger says 2hrs 30mins should be comfortable. If you gave yourself more then that's even better more comfort and there is plenty to fill that time easily.
