Tablet Battery

    Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place!

    My sister bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 a few months ago. When she charges it, it takes about 5 hours. Now I know mine takes a bit longer so we thought this was normal. However, sometimes when she charges it, a red X appears where the battery is.

    Is there anything she can do or should she just take it back to the shop? She's moving to Paris this week and really wants to take it with her so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Has she tried resetting the tablet to factory settings? Also would be a good idea to look for a software update for the device. I'll move this over to the Android forum which is more suitable!
