Outdoor paint - gold?

Howdy.

I'm looking to paint a garden table and chairs gold. Does such outdoor paint exist? I don't want to end up with yellow.

Also - what is the process of painting outdoor furniture? Wash it / white spirits / sand it / paint it?

You can use Hammerite on metal garden furniture. There is definitely a bronzey shade that looks very well outdoors.

It's wooden furniture. I know it's quite a left field request!

You can get gold effect metallic paint that can be used on exterior wood (UK links but you can see what to look out for).

Don't forget to prime before painting.
