from Eircom to Vodafone

vodafone rang me today asking me if I want to switch from eircom to vodafone. I am very happy with eircom but vodafone told me that they will offer me a better price. we are 4 people in the house and we use internet a lot, I am not an expert, what I should look at to see if it would be convenient for me to switch?
