Hi...doing the Comeragh Tour tomorrow and i am enquiring if anyone on the forum done it before...particularly regarding mahon falls and seskin hill...seen as they are optional...have they been ascended by many cyclists in the past or do most give them a miss...id like to include them if they were plenty cyclists going to do them as well...

I'd say most did both hills last year, weather wasn't the best last year but the forecast for tomorrow is pretty good.

SKT 160 takes in Mahon Falls, not 100% sure if its the same route you will be doing, but if it is, it is tough, particularly right at the top, but its not as bas as some would have you believe. Just take it easy before the top and leave something in your leg for the last 400m. I'd argue the descent is worse, very narrow and fast, which combines to make it dangerous.
    Take care and enjoy.
