    Hi all!

So I got a new laptop around October/November of last year. It's a Dell Inspiron 15. However, I have a few problems with it already which weren't there when I bought it. Firstly, a few of the USB ports don't recognise USBs (but will charge my phone etc) in around Jan/Feb. Then the headphone jack went a few weeks ago. Yesterday, the sound stopped working completely and it just says that it's not running. So I tried opening control panel, but it keeps freezing and won't open. So I tried running a System File Checker, but it won't run (it does nothing when I press Enter). Then I tried to repair the component store, but it gets as far as "Image Version" and won't go any further. I dunno what else to do. Any suggestions?

I think I'd send it back to be honest. I assume it has a 1 yr warranty?

Yup, warranty time. Send it back. Back up all your files before doing anything also.

There is really no point in trying to get someone to repair stuff like that, if the laptop is in warranty. Send it back and get a nice shiny new one!

I got the sound fixed myself thankfully so I have that at least until I can get it sent back.

A nice shiny new one sounds nice :D If only I could take the sticker off this one

You wont generally get a new one. You'll have an engineer come out and replace the motherboard I reckon.
