Flame Failure Device on Hob

I just acquired a 2 year old dual fuel cooker which is working brilliantly. However, today, one of the gas hob rings/burners will not stay lit. I only have the cooker about a fortnight and it was definitely working when we installed it. To light a burner, the control knob is turned and pushed in while the ignition switch is pressed. The burner in question lights no problem but when the knob is released, the gas is cut off. I've tried keeping it lit for a few minutes with the knob pressed in but it still goes out when the knob is released.

I'm aware of the flame failure device and i've dusted the sensor. The sensor is definitely in the path of the flame. The other 3 rings are working perfectly.

Before getting someone out to look at it, I want to research the problem. I've looked at the cost of parts online and the FFDs are really expensive - well over €100!! Are there 4 of them on a 4 burner hob??? If it is just the probe that's at fault, the part is not so dear.

Have any of you fine boardsies got any experience with this?

Hey there, I had another look and realised the sensor was lower on that burner than the others. After fiddling a little, it is now fixed!
