Have to lay tiles in wet room in my holiday home in Donegal but the wet room tray isn't level. Is it OK to spread the wet room adhesive 1 inch thick in 1 corner and spread it in normal on other side. This adhesive is like a gluey type rather than a cement base addy so its got me thinking it mightny be OK.

its is not advisable to build up a floor with standard flexible adhesive 1 inch.Bal stone and tile ptb is a product that can be used. Its still not ideal. Why did the tray not go in level..,Can it be removed and fitted correctly

All rest of floor tiled, tanked and showed area tanked. Someone stood on corner of tray just after set down in the mega glue used and they forgot to tell me. This person had a box of tiles in his hand so you can think of weight on corner of tray :( it was then screwd after glue set.

I'm going to use an s1 rapid set adhesive now instead of this tacky wet tray adhesive. Horrible stuff to work with. Been phoning about and the S1 can be used on wet trays I've heard.

you can use old tiles to help you build up the one inch.this would be alot stronger than putting down one inch of adhesive

I would defo try to fix the sub floor with a rapid set morter, then lay tiles with no drama.
