Beech....green or copper?

    I planted about 100 bare-root beech plants for a hedge last year. All seemed to thrive and all have budded and leaved out this year.

    Just wondering if one or two purple beech have sneaked in to the batch I got (see pic) or are they deficient in feed/water (unlikely as they are watered several times a week).

    Pictured are leaves from two adjacent plants....

    yes, looks like a purple one alright. Can look quite nice filtered in amongst a green one. I'd leave it. Depends on your opinion/taste.
