What's my Best Route to Break Salary Barrier?

    Going of irishjobs.ie and similar the range for audit mangers in practice outside of big 4 is roughly €55k - €60k.

    I'm falling between that in terms of salary.

    If I want to break €60k+ is my only move to Big4? Or to go it alone (assuming I'm not offered partnership)?

    There are no more 'rungs' above me here where I am. What more can I offer/do for my partner to make me worth more/justify say €65k to him?
