Advice on Mercedes Vito 119

A neighbour of mine who is in the landscaping business is looking to replace his existing 4x4 Toyota Hilux jeep with a large van such as the Mercedes Vito 119.

He asked me to just ask in general on feedback on any people's experience with this vehicle as he is working flat out at the moment and has only occasional access to internet.

His rationale for going with the van over the jeep is that he will have more sheltered space for equipment, shrubs and other items he brings from job to job. From what he told me he was initially looking at the orginal Merc vito sport-x but the 119 is the newer model.
I found some comments on this forum about the earlier generation vito commercial vans. I guess he is looking for user testimonies from owners or ancecdotal ones from those who know owners or have checked them out.

    Thanks in advance.

The new Vito is a pain. The cab is too small and controls are badly layed out. What year is the hilux
