Complaint about Polling Station

My polling station is off a side road, and down a good bit. I have been voting for ages and so know where it is.

Today when going to vote, I was asked by 2 different people where the station is.

There are no " polling station" signs anywhere. Not on the road, to show people the turn, not even on the building itself.

I mentioned it the the Garda on duty, and was told it will be noted.

But, is there anywhere I can complain about this?

    Thanks,

    http://dublincountyreturningofficer.com/
is the website for Dublin, presume there are similar around the country. Might be better to ring them or one of the political parties to get signs put up.

It might be worth emailing your local City/County Hall. You could also contact local TDs coucillors etc.

I came to the forum to see about finding information about complaining about a station myself, all be it about something different.

The village station I was in today had only one voting booth so I was happy to stand and wait for the woman ahead of me. But the woman behind the desk said to me there's a pencil over there, pointing to a desk right beside her, I took it to mean she expected me to vote right in front of them which is ridiculous. Noisy b*tch would be delighted to know I imagine.

As far as I remember that is the correct thing to do and I expect that the Garda probably had done so in any case. In reality there is not much that can be done on the day, but if the staff responsible failed to following instructions then they are usually dropped for future elections.
