Do older CM games not work on newer laptops?

I installed and tried to play CM4 on my about year old laptop but it didnt work?

    Any ideas why?

What operating system are you using?

Make sure you have it updated to the latest patch Edios would have released back then. Also, if you are running Win7/8/8.1, right click on the .exe launcher, go to properties > compatibility and set it to run in compatibility mode for Vista.

Also tick Run as administrator further down the page and apply.
