    I've often only found out about an event, meeting or show that I'd have like to have gone to when someone writes about it here after the event. Therefore, I propose a farming diary thread where we can post stuff like this a few days in advance

    I'm not sure if it will work but worth a try anyway

    I'll start it off with...

    Roscommon ICSA will host a regional public meeting on the new Beef Genomics and Data Programme on Friday, May 22nd at 9pm at the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone. All farmers welcome

    IHFA Pure Fresian open day on farm of Bill O'Keefe, Clara, Co.Kilkenny on Friday 19th June. Always read his Dairy diary on the Journal so would be nice to see the set up.
