    Hi all,

Have a 2005 McCormick CX105 and need to reduce the hydraulic oil flow for a wrapper. Does anyone know how this is done. Can't find it on any of the manuals. Any help very much appreciated

Reduce revs on tractor? 11/1200 revs is more than enough on ours

The pump may be at maximum capacity as is, you could try and give the main dealer a call, they may kno more.

Thats what i thought to Ray but tractor manual says it puts out 55 l/min and the baler manual says it needs 35 l/min so seams like it should be ok

you can change the flow rate in a little box down beside the handle to change the pto from 540 - 1000. it has a little cover over it and probably need a flat screwdriver to open it

I find my cx 105 slow enough to tip any trailer with twin ramps but loader is very quick

Mx is very fast tipping twin ram trailers.

I may take out the book so and read up. Reggie was saying his 398 was the same and someone said there could be to much oil in the back end

mine is between min and max on dip stick

Not enough you need at least a gallon over max for a twin ram trailer, don't think you could over fill if it's the same as the Mx.

Dad used to keep the 4240 over max on dip stick said there wasn't enough oil in the back end when she was flat put of a hot day and loader dropping oil below the max

Surely there should be some valve around the backend somewhere the changes the flow coming out them pipes?
