A slim wallet

Can anyone recommend a slim wallet?
I'd like something that is slim, but without the needing to fold my notes. While I see the appeal of a TGT or Elephant wallet I'm not quite prepared to go that slim :D

I'm thinking something along the lines of Slimmy or Slimfold, but I can't find them for a decent price in Ireland.

What have you got, and more importantly can it be bought delivered to Ireland for, say, less that €35?

won't hit your 35 euro budget but http://www.bellroy.com is worth a look. I've the hide and seek and find it very good.

I'm not strictly looking for something for less than 35 - if I find the ideal wallet for more I will go for it!
I did look on Bellroy, and there are lots of nice ones there. Two concerns - I don't know which model to go for, and I don't believe they're high enough to properly fit €20 and €50 notes.

I just looked at One Star, and the only wallet that holds notes without folding is $135 - bit too much.

The hide and seek comes in 2 options HI and LO, HI designed for Euro notes. That's what I have, works well for me. I've 11 cards and use the hidden section for my old style driving licence and different currencies when travelling.

That one's nice - how slim is it though?
It's quite a bit more than I wanted to spend though.

I've bought 2 wallets from this crowd on Etsy and very happy with them. Both have arrived 9 days after placing the order.

    Secrid wallet!

    http://www.penworld.eu/secrid-mini-wallet-leather-limited-cognac-black.html

Not cheap but very very good, they protect all your cards against contactless payment scams. WIll fit about 5 or 6 cards and enough room for some change and notes can be folded in a compartment inside.

the aluminium casing for the cards makes the wallet heavier than a phone

Looks nice, was looking for a metal wallet to stop my cards from bending in my back pocket.
I thought Bellboy did metal ones or was I looking at somewhere else

I have the Capsule wallet, great little wallet and stops you from collecting things you don't need like receipts, business cards, loyalty cards, etc.

The secrid wallet is not at all heavy - for me it's perfect and the added bonus of being able to keep away from scams which will appear in the very near future will prove to be important.

Also quite smart how you just press the little button at the bottom and all your cards are produced so you can easily select which one you want to use.

How do find it with Euro's, from the look of it notes would be sticking out either side and get bent.

I've an EZGO Wallet which I do like though it really is suited to dollars much more 50's stick out a bit and fivers can be tricky to get out, but I do like that they have looked at the wallet in a different way, quite thin and light.

Occasionally pop up on massdrop for cheaper than RRP

The euro notes fit in fine, just need to rotate them 90 degrees compared to the dollar.

How much cash can you fit in the secrid? Will it take a few hundred in €50s?

A bit of self advertising here. But check out
    http://www.glasfinleather.com
I only make the one type of wallet at the moment where you dont have to fold the cash. But if you see something somewhere else I might be able to make you a custom wallet.

All handmade in here in Dublin no machines used at all.
Send me a PM or email if you want something custom

If you want to try something completely different

You could try a paper wallet
    http://www.paperwallet.com/shop/

They're about as thin as you can get and surprisingly strong

I've had one now since December 2014 and the outside is a little bit faded, but it hasn't torn

You can pick up some great bargain wallets on Aliexpress. It takes patience to find good ones but they are there.

I hate American wallets - nowhere to store your change.

In America, a pocketful of shrapnel is worth absolutely nothing.

In Europe, a pocketful of change can be worth E20. Not to be sneezed at..

Also on the lookout for a new wallet but I notice a lot of these links are for the US.
Do they have stockists here or did you just get them sent from the US?

8 notes might be a push. I have 6 notes at the moment and the clip closes properly. The 50s, 20s and 10s all curl up at either end. Folding them so that they dont curl reduces the number of euro notes that will fit.

I think the concept of a slim wallet and a lot of notes are difficult to match.

I have been using my miniwallet secrid for about 3 months and overall am happy with it. I have a wallet type cover for my phone which fits another 4 cards.

I have a 'machine era' aluminium wallet. Fits the bill. ( sorry it won't let me post a link)
