    Hi, gf looking for a 5 door hatchback.

    Needs to be
    • Reliable
    • 5 door
    • Low tax
    • Relatively new so 2 year NCT rather than 1
    • 10/11k budget
    • Not silver
    • Not French or Italian
    • Diesel or petrol doesn't matter

    I've no idea what's good/bad anymore so advice here would be great.

    2010ish 1.8 iVTEC Honda Civic. Super reliable, plenty of go and €390 to tax.

    The pre 2010 doesn't but I think the facelift does.
