Anyone replaced a belt on a Bosch rotak-32?

I've gotten the belt on but can't seem to get the tensioner right?
    Help appreciated.

How should the tensioner be positioned before inserting the motor?

Did you have the tensioner spring removed, when it is fitted the pressure of the spring has to be pushing onto the outside of the belt

    Like in this picture?
I'm struggling with what to do with the part of the spring that sticks up.

Your 2 pics show the small wheel in 2 different positions, the spring is meant to keep the small wheel towards the round depression in the casing in pic#2. It swings to keep the belt tight. The belt goes around the outside of both wheels. Is there a way the small wheel and spring could go in upside down, with somewhere for the end of the spring to hook into in the casing?

Or maybe the end of the spring fits into the cover plate? I see 2 screws, 1 of which doesn't look original, they look like they hold on a cover.

[Just guessing here, I've never had one or changed a belt on one.]

Hi, did you ever get the mower fixed? Do you know what the correct location of the belt tensioner should be as I have the same problem. I took the motor out and when replacing it, I kept getting a rubbing or scraping sound. If there are any pictures I'd be grateful.

The pic I posted earlier in the thread pretty much shows how it should go.

I never got my mower fixed because the problem turned out that the teeth on the motor's cog were too worn.
This might be your problem too.
