aer lingus a320 vs a321

Hi all whats the diffrence between the a320 and the a321 i am flying with EI friday to faro and i see the last two trips they have used the a321 where as they have used the a320 up until two days ago,i flew on the a320 to faro in october.Are EI a320 the old model?
Just curious only taking up an insight to planes and theyre workings recently.

321 is a stretched version (more seats) of the 320, the same way the 318 & 319 are shortened versions,

Easiest way to notice the difference is the 320 has 2 over wing exits (similar to Ryanair 737-800) whereas the 321 does not have over wing emergency exits, but larger door style/size exits in front of and behind the wings

Aer Lingus also have a few 319's (these only have 1 over wing exit, as does the 318)

The Aer Lingus A321's are on average older than the A320's, but I doubt that would be a problem.

Yea i seen the age of the a321 is around 1999

Do the A321s have in-flight entertainment? Looked up a few interior shots of them and they appear to, but this may just be a select few?

The 319s have left the fleet and are all in service now with Vueling.
