    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to fix pink fire plasterboard to an existing chimney breast. The chimney stack is built of block and sand cement skim finish. We are renovating so i need to cover it with something.

Not recommended to plaster slab to chimney brest. We have had to re do work( done by another contractor) where smoke has entered the bedroom upstairs due to finding its way behind plaster slab. Also if chimney cracks behind plaster slab, it will not be noticed and carbon monoxide can escape into bedroom with deadly consequences.
