I borrowed a car to head down to Limerick tomorrow and have scratched it.

Does anyone know a good place (preferably not too expensive) to get a repair.

    Either in Limerick or Dublin

    Pic attached.

I have used these guys - they are mobile but some repairs they ask you to come in.

Based in Cookstown (just off Belgard Road), so kind of on way to Limerick.

If you are looking for someone in Limerick then I'd recommend Keith O'Brien based in the Eastway Business Park (near the NCT centre). He did a brilliant job on respraying the front bumper on my BMW 5 Series recently. He does a good bit of work for Conlan's also.

Had a very poor experience here.

Jesus, your not having much joy lately. I couldn't find fault with their work on my car to be honest and I used them on a recommendation.

    I'll put it this way...
the 12yr old factory paint polished by MX Valeting a year before KOB painted some of the car still looks better than the fresh paint from KOB.

And that was their second attempt.

I've found Joe in http://www.fitzwilliamgarage.com very good. Perfect colour match on a similar bumper scratch.

That's not a scratch, it's a scuff on a plastic bumper. It won't just buff out. I would use a specialist like Ashmore Ryder in Ringsend.

Yup, it will need paint. That's why I mentioned colour match....

Went there to get a quote for a small job. I got the usual garage attitude of 'we're very busy but will try and fit you in.'. Eventually they texted me a price but I had at that stage got a perfect job done and dusted at a little over half what KOB quoted.

Jaysus, I would have paid 50% more if I thought I'd get a professional job done first time round.
Trim damaged and all sorts the second time.

Can you say where you got yours done, or PM me?
Sooner or hopefully later herself's car will need another job.

I got it done by a Polish guy accross the road from him. KOB was in the Eastlink business park at that time.

Can't picture that - don't think that guy was there when I was there.

Well I can only go by my own experience with them which was more positive and I'm fussy enough about my cars too. They also weren't the most expensive quote I got when pricing the job either. Maybe they upped their game since moving?
