    Hi,

I am Irish domiciled & resident with only Irish income. Can I pay money into a UK based pension scheme and obtain tax relief on the UK contributions on my Irish income tax?

The reason I ask is I have a small UK private pension fund which could use topping up so that it might become meaningful when I retire :)

Why not transfer your UK pension over here and start contributing to an Irish pension? You would get good value for the sterling at the moment and simplify it for yourself.
