    I went into river island once and asked the sales assistant where was the men's section. She told me I was standing in it!

    Last time I went to River Island I tried on a 36" waist pants (which I always take with plenty of room) it wouldn't go over my thighs. I asked the sales assistant on the floor could I get a 38" she looked and at me sniggered and said " We don't stock anything that big". I was like WTF how is any normal size person supposed to fit into these clothes?

    And I see on their website they stock up to 40". FFS why cant they make clothes true to their size.

    I find their clothes to fit fine. Maybe the clothes you had been buying before were untrue to their size and were a size bigger than labeled?

    I've seen clothes in Dunnes/penny's do that, I can fit into their 32inch jeans when I normally take a 34.
