    ...sorry.... another 'whats this' thread .....

    I planted chive seeds and this came up .... doesnt look anything like chives to me ....

    ...any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks like sorrel. Should have a peppery taste IF it is! Be careful...

    Definitely not sage. Leaf is different and growth is different, sage doesn't form a rosette like this has.

    Sorrel has a pretty unique leaf shape - like a spear or arrowhead - that this plant also has on its developed leaves, hence my conclusion.

    It's definitely in general sorrel family if not one of the common types.
