Want to go on holidays the end of July - have to take annual leave - aside from all the comments about how expensive it will be - i know its peak :D

Im looking for an all inclusive resort around the 800-1000 per person for a week that has more than a buffet... i.e. having a few different options to eat

Any one any resorts that they would recommend?

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but I really like the Seabank in Malta, it's very family orientated and the area hasnt much night life but taxis are cheap and easy to find. It's got two buffet style restaurants, an italian (a la carte), brazilian (served in 7 courses) and oriental (buffet) which need to be booked in advance. Super nice staff. It's not on the level of the all inclusives you find in Mexico or the Carribbean but I had a very chilled stay there. Alpha rooms website tend to have the best prices for it I find.

If going all inclusive i'd definitely avoid the ones that include alcohol.

Why go all inclusive? Get out of the hotel and sample local restaurants. Much nicer.

I've been here and the food is very good. There was a separate chef for meat, fish, salads and desserts etc. It's a comfortable place.

Los Jameos Playa has very good all inclusive food and the drinks are decent too. Only problem was the pool area, very very busy,we were there in August and the hotel was full, didn't like it at all. We always enjoyed the beach much better though so wasn't too bothered by that.
