BTEA and Means Testing

I currently live at home with my parents and have been getting BTEA for 2 years. It was Means Tested, so I was getting 100-110, not sure on the exact number.

I'll be moving away for college but covering rent on 110 would be impossible. I'm hoping since I will no longer be living with my parents, I'll be moved up to the 160. Has anyone ever experienced this before, and if so how did it work out?

Actually this can be closed. I contacted the welfare office in Sligo and asked if I transferred my claim from where I currently live to there, and I lived there alone, if I'd still be means tested. She adamantly said no, so it looks like everything has been fairly sorted out for me which is awesome. Makes a change haha.
