As the title suggests, I'm an idiot. I have no way of getting in contact with the buyer.

So in regards to my Nintendo profile, what are my options if I were to buy a Wii U or a 3DS in future?

Contact Nintendo support. They can transfer the profile with a few easy steps. Did that for me when my 3DS was stolen.

The thing is, I've nothing to transfer my profile to at this moment. Can I just get them to disable the account (or anything to that manner)?

I'd imagine they can yes, somehow... I guess just ask and see what happens :)

If you have your serial number and nnid, call nintendo and ask them to disconnect it from your console.
