RSD are advertising a 15 day cultural tour of Turkey on 1st December 2015 for €129 pp. Other dates available for a small additional fee. Too good to be true? Any advice/views?

Just a few quick comments - my Dad showed me the leaflet at the weekend...
    • The flight in is in north Turkey, flight out in the south - with 7 days of bus trips to cover the distance - I'd expect you'll spend 3-4 hours a day in a bus
    • There is an optional €149 pp package you will be offered on arrival - I'd expect a hard sell
    • The dates for the listed price are early Dec and late Jan only - otherwise there is a supplement, which reaches a few hundred per person for the summer.

So if you can travel on the dates when it's really cheap, are happy with the bus trips and toughing out the hard sell - you'll get a cheap holiday. But if you go for a more desirable date, and buy the optional package - you're probably looking at the guts of €500 pps - at which point there may be better options for a 'cheap' holiday.

Just my 2c from reading the leaflet - your mileage may vary.

    Paddy
