Good Running Jacket

Any recommendations for a good one ? Waterproofness isn't a requirement as I do not believe such a thing exists. I would like something snug fitting that has removeable sleeves. I know Nike did something like this a couple of years back, but I can't find them now.

This would seem to meet your requirements but you might be better off get one of the ones that is waterproof also. I have had a couple of the gore waterproof and wind proof jackets and they are far and away better than any Nike/Adidas/aside jackets I've had.

Have an asics with removable sleeves but it's quite loose.

Nike Shifter I think is the one that you're on about. I've a couple they're brilliant and have lasted me years.

I got a Patagonia "Houdini" in the outlet shop in Dublin centre, reduced from €175 to €90, weighs 3oz and packs into its own pocket (size of 2 bars of chocolate), bought it for mandatory kit requiement for IMRA summer races, for Winter - got a North Face Summit Jacket - Goretex - 100% waterproof (really, I've fished 52 weeks a year in Ireland & abroad in **** weather for 20years - it really works), did all the Art O'Neill recces this winter in every weather and kept me warm/ dry, they are 280€ list - North Face Outlet store in Kildare has them for €140 (if you only buy 1 jacket for 4 seasons - this is it & you will get 6-8years wear out of it)

Sorry - these dont have removeable sleeves... Though I have Gore windstoppers that do but they aint waterproof just the best wind resistant stuff out there :-)
