I am looking to get some nice light fittings for my new build and in particular nice pendant lights to go over island and a nice light for the hall way with a bit of wow.

Can anyone recommend a shop to look, even online.

I am based in Limerick but am frequently in Dublin.

hickenlighting.com, it is in Dublin. It is really nice store but it is expensive but if you are looking for just some pendant lights, maybe it is a good option to buy a good quality light. Take a look in the web, I love it.

Since your based in Limerick I'd recommend Browser furniture there in town and the show room is lovely. They also have a website Browsers.ie but I've found that they often have things in the show room that you won't find on the website.

Raymie Ryan lighting in Cashel has a great selection in his showroom and not too far a spin from Limerick. Website is http://www.inlighting.ie/

We recently changed all of our lights.
WE went to National Lighting near Kylemore they have a website too.

We then took the model numbers and bought all the lights that we like on Amazon.

I have found Irish retailers and even electrical wholesalers prohibitively expensive.

we saved over €100 euro on one set of drop lights for our dining room alone.
