So I am living in Switzerland and bought quite a few things online lately who used DHL to deliver them. As I am here for work I am using my work laptop.

It appears I was caught out by these fake DHL emails which are almost identical to the real ones giving the option to track your parcel etc.

They are in German and I am not completely fluent so I downloaded a PDF and it appears I am now infected. He's a n article describing the issue.

I am now getting dozens of emails an hour since this morning (even though I opened the file about 10days ago) which are sending failure emails from many, many email accounts that someone has used my work email to send to.

I have tried Mcafee (which our company insists on) , Malwarebytes, Kaspersky and Webroot, but nothing has been found.

As its a work email its quite important, so whats the next step can you advise?

The Mcafee scan is currently running but has been on 45% for the last 20mins on the same folder and is going very slowly through the files
