    Hi all
I have my twin wall flue installed and it moves through external wall at 90 degrees. I know 45 for greater draw better but it works. I want advice on gap needed between the twin wall and the tiles on wall and the plasterboard and warmboard and indeed the block wall.

I plan to have 50mm gap for part passing through warm and plaster board and tile. Enough?

And what best to fill gap with?

    Rockwool? Fire silicone? Fire cement?

I pls just cement to fill gap running through block.

    Appreciate any thoughts

The flue should be going at an angle of 45degrees 90 degree is not permissible on solid fuel by building regs.
The flue should pass through wall and be packed with a non combustible material eg rockwool and then sealed with sand and cement
