Hi all, I'm looking to buy this hoover at the end of the week and am just trying to track down the lowest price. Argos have it for €324.99, reduced from €444.99 (which I would never pay for a hoover) Just wondering if anyone has seen it cheaper anywhere else? Thanks

Currys seem to be a little cheaper

One thing to note though is that vax have had some great sales on open box items at least once a year, might be worth searching for such threads and see if there's a pattern.

Thanks for that, never heard of that website (pricespy) before, that's pretty handy, so thanks for that as well.

People have bought from the Vax.co.uk site before here on bargain alerts but there may have been issues with posting to Ireland or using ParcelMotel in lieu of a UK address

The cordless vax you're looking at is £249.99 on the UK site but of course the exchange rate is rubbish, so €319.99 for a b&m store like Currys seems like good value.

I actually contacted Vax on facebook because they have a good deal on at the moment of a free cordless hard floor cleaner worth £59.99 but they said they don't deliver to Ireland.

I'm going to be in Dublin at the weekend so I can try the big shopping centres.
