I'm looking to play music from my phone through my car, mk5 golf 2006. There's no aux jack fitted and I've heard that FM transmitters aren't great quality?

I've been doing a bit of research online and have looked at a Parrot, but I was hoping there might be a cheaper option?

Just looking for good quality, bluetooth/ability to use for calls a plus of course.

I had an FM transmitter in my MK5 golf and for the money they're ok, once you don't mind re-tuning them every so often on a journey. The audio quality on the parrot isn't great - I had an iOPlay2 fitted which was a bit more expensive but I've no complaints about it at all and the audio quality is much better.

    Thanks for that Emsloe,

Is it possible to have someone install an aux jack into the car?

Yes it is. From recollection that means you'll have to sacrifice the cd changer so if you want to use that aswell you might be left with a tough decision. Most audio fellas can pop one in in no time.

Any idea how much and who to ask to install one of these? I'm afraid I'd mess it up
