Strange Emergency Vehicles In Convoy

I was just approaching the M7 toll Northbound two weeks ago when I saw three emergency vehicles in convoy on blues travelling southbound.

The vehicles went past very fast but I couldn't make out what service they were from. Two of them looked like Land Rover Discovery's and the other an estate type vehicle.

They all appearedto be a bottle green colour with a dark green and yellow battenburg. I say "appear" as I was doing motorway speed and they appeared to be too so they went past quickly but couldn't make them out.

It was the same day as the CFO conference but due to battenburg colour presumed they had nothing to do with that.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Pure speculation here but there is a lot of activity going on before this Prince Charles visit. A lot of resources tasked to it from all over.

Funny that you mention that, 2 weeks ago I was coming back up the M7 from Limerick and just passed junction 14 at monasterevin 3 RRV's passed going south with the lights on. 2 jeeps together and a bit behind some sort of people carrier. It was sometime in the afternoon.

Two Land Rovers and an Estate, most likely Lifeline Ambulance Service. They have the Land Rover's and estate cars. They transport transplant teams around the country and back.

Almost a year later but just saw them recently enough and you're dead right foreign, Lifeline doing organ work.
