Too much toilet paper?

    Having plumbing issues, sewer line gets blocked. I got a plumber in to free the blockage and he said we are using away too much toilet paper in relation to solids and pee.
    I question this, or am I wrong?

    A person was telling me the other day that they were having a similar problem until they stopped using a particular brand of paper from a discount chain. Said it didn't disintegrate properly.

    I think if the system is borderline troublesom for whatever reason then the paper can become an issue.

    We have no problems at all but I know at our home house where the system is near 40 years old some of the paper doesn't break down quickly and it causes trouble.

    +1! Rolls of sandpaper is what it is! No more problems after they changed brand.

    I must review my toilet paper brands, I always buy the cheapest stuff.
